Geographic Overview of Eneria
The Kingdom of Eneria was founded in year 0 A.E, after the Empire fell. It consists of the three isles, Hadret, Jain and Mair, the most southern part of the old Empire.
The Isle of Hadret is the main isle, and this is where the capital Cynebury is located, along with the Royal Castle Cynebury Keep, and the Duke's Castle, Lehill Castle. From Cynebury it is possible to travel by land through the Avon Ridges, take a boat over the smallest part of the Avon Passage, and continue on land through the Faedoe Woods and to Viken. From Cynebury you can also get to other Kingdoms by sea, the closest one being the Kingdom of Brona.
The biggest island in Eneria is the Isle of Jain. The biggest city is the city of Ostford which is located in the northeastern part, and is connected to both Viken and Glenere by roads, and other countries by sea, over the Peryllian Sea. Glenere is located north of Ostford and is a small town nestled in the mountains and close to the volcano Ralta. Viken is a little city with connections to the rest of the Kingdom, and it is from here you get to the Isle of Mair.
The Isle of Mair is the smallest isle in Eneria and consists of a single town, the Town of Mair. It is largely undisturbed because its only connection to the rest of the Kingdom is the route by sea to Viken, and that is only safe during the warmer months of the year.
The Avon Sea to the north are fairly safe waters, and travels are only disencouraged during the coldest months of the year. The Avon Passage is treacherous and not suited for larger vessels, which is why travel from Cynebury to Viken is mostly on land, and not by sea. The Avon Reef surrounds most of the southern parts of the Hadret and Mair islands, and make it impossible for larger ships to sail across, so going to Ostford and then crossing the Peryllian Sea is the only way to travel further south from Eneria.
